Plastering and wall repair in Montreal
DV Groupe repairs walls and ceilings in homes across Greater Montreal: holes, cracks, joints and damaged ceilings, on plaster and drywall alike. Paint never hides a badly prepared wall; it is the plastering that decides whether the finished wall is truly smooth. It is never just painting.

Plastering: common questions
Do you repair ceilings?
Yes. A damaged ceiling is opened, repaired, plastered and repainted, as with this kitchen ceiling where the island stayed protected under a sheet throughout the work.
Plaster or drywall: what is the difference?
Older homes, including many Montreal plexes, often have plaster walls. Newer construction uses drywall, in panels. Both can be repaired, though not quite in the same way.
Does a wall need repainting after a repair?
Usually, yes. A repair leaves a surface that differs from the rest of the wall; it is primed and then painted so it blends in.
How much does it cost to repair a wall or ceiling?
The price depends on the extent of the damage, the area and the finish you want. DV Groupe does not publish fixed prices: every project gets a free, no-obligation quote.
